Damn – that was a tough workout!

I finally stalled on leg presses. Honestly I think I went to crazy on the leg extensions.

I saw this video of John Meadows doing a drop set into a static hold on leg extensions. I did something similar this workout with a static hold, and my quads were completely shot by the time I got to the leg press.

Going forward, I think I’m going to do 1 straight set to failure on leg extensions, and then go crazy on the leg press with rest-pause reps etc. I think that will solve this problem, and allow me to continue making progress – especially while I finish my never-ending diet.

Hamstrings went great though! I hit big PRs on both exercises – especially the Romanian rack deadlifts with bands. I mean, a 40 pound PR on deadlifts!? Are you kidding me!?

It looks like my “Infinite Strength Curve” theory is working… LOL! Seriously though, the Romanian rack deadlift against bands may be one of the greatest hamstrings exercises ever invented. I would know – as I’m the one who invented it!
